Hyde (Inks vs. Colors)

An example of my headshot inks/lineart vs. my colored headshots, featuring my character Hyde.
For linework, I begin with a sketch and then try to create relatively crisp linework using a Sakura Micron finepoint art pen. As you may notice, I use a variety of different strokes and line thicknesses to make the piece more visually appealing as opposed to a basic outline of sketched work.
For traditionally colored work, I proceed from this lineart and utilize high-quality Prismacolor colored pencils in multiple shades to create a finished piece with shading and depth.
