Except for season 2, which in retrospect doesn't count because techincally Adventures 02 was just a extension of Adventures.
Leomon is the equivalent of a Red Shirt, so if you are a Leomon or one of his many evolution counter parts, your fated to die. It isn't just in the anime, in any digimon media, Leomon is fated to die. It's just so sad really
