This WAAASSS gonna be a commission/otherthing announcement once February was here- but then something hit me and I realized there's something else I want to do more than that.
(I-it's still gonna be for yous guise but it's something that matters more to me than Valentine's day or pink or hearts and stuff. Not to knock that stuff, cause I'm a sucker for the whole flower and candle scene! But my preferences have been shifting and I'm much more excited for this other announcement.)
But no sense in wasting a perfectly shitty doodle, roight?
So here it is!
Cupid sisters or..something. The taker and the gift giver. The angel and the devil. All that jazz.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't mostly excited about drawing the roses (Black Baccara, Sheer Bliss, & Pink Promise <3), candles, and strawberries doops.

FUN FACT: There is a white rose with a yellow center called the Gideon Lincecum Rose (my greatx4 grandfather) :> It doesn't look very much like a rose but its cool that I got my last name on a flower! :D

That is so freaking cool though! You need to have like, a garden of them and invite people over for tea and inbetween your 'harumphs' and 'mmm quite's you should point out that your garden is freakin' NAMED AFTER YOUR FAMILY sdfjsdf

Oh jeez, really? ;w; That means the world to hear! I know I don't really try to hide my favorite things and obsessions, but I do sometimes feel like maybe it's annoying for other people to constantly see. But I dunno, that's what's most inspiring to me about art. When I can express my love for stuff (even if it's just bottle labels or chalkboards or flowers or candles) and when I can make others happy with my art.

I'd hell, I'd definitely recommend it! I don't know about anyone else, but it's one of my favorite things about drawing. And hell yeee get on that comp, grrl! Whenever you're able to, of course. Nothing wrong with traditional over digital, but I do hope you get to get back into it soon. ( Also why is your computer so far away? Was it computernapped? D8 )

I've always been really into February, and I still am! But I'm waaay more excited about St. Patrick's Day and spring this year for some reason. I guess because every other year was about buying stuff and couple stuff and this year it's so chill and all I wanna do is watch Who's Line Is It Anyway or Futurama or AFV and snack and laugh. So my idea of V-day this year doesn't have much to do with the usual pink heart candybox explosion. Feels like I vouched out of a race and get to sit on the sidelines with my honey buns and cheer everyone else on.
And I love it. I'm kicking myself for not being this chill in years before.
