Fallout New Vegas amirite? /casually hides 500 hours of play time @n@;
I have a love-hate relationship with these guys. (have u ever had to run and gun an entire pack because they spawned as you left a building at the Gypsum Train Yard because let me tell u)
they're reALly cool kids but there's nothing quite as despairing as that sudden [CAUTION] sign when youre in deathclaw territory and you cant see any of them nearby but by then you know it's too late
Also a bonus picture

OMG Fallout New Vegas yes plz <3 (AND YOU HAVE ME BEATEN FOR HOURS PLAYED??? Must fix)
And yes, absolutely yes these are by far some of the most dangerous enemies STILL, because even with the awesome new toys they added in the Project Nevada overhaul mod, they also BUFFED THE CRAP out of deathclaws and, they're just really scary even when packing around a rocket launcher xD
Also, awesome capturing of their aesthetics! That big huge ungainly looking frame of theirs, with those obnoxiously large arms looks spot-on, and those toothy faces are great x3

ahAhah I'm a terrible person, I just dick around with new characters and go the wrong way, straight north through the cazador lands B ) I have so many problems and all of them are this game
I juuuust cleared Dead Wind Cavern, which is an achievement because I have a habit of making melee characters. a Nice Meme
have you ever killed Rawr in the Divide? He's a piece of work, hot damn
Admittedly a lot of my play time is mostly hunting for good screenshots. Every playthrough I end up trying to keep these guys as intact as possible when killing them so I can get references ;w;
they could stab you to death with their chins, I swear

LOL you know, I haven't actually gone to the Divide yet! Last DLC I need to finish off, Old World Blues was freaking aaaaawweeesooommmeee :D
Hehe, you know if you're on PC, you can actually use some REALLY simple console commands to turn off ALL offensive AI (temporarily!) so that they'll just wander around, and you can take shots of them when they're not dead or trying to make you dead! All you should need to do is hit the 'tilde' key, which is the '~' one to the left of your '1' key, and then type in 'tai' (which stands for 'toggle AI') into the console and hit enter. Do your stuff you need to with screencaps and such, then walk up to a deathclaw, repeat the steps before, exit the console, and have fun! :3

wwwwww it's my absolute favourite DLC. mostly because of the main antag but hhghghh it's got the strongest deathclaws hangin' out in there too, just to make things interesting. Fully leveled, they hit harder than the Legendary. And Rawr... withstood a blast from Esther. who let this happen
Ohhh damn why didn't I think of that sooner. of course I can be all-powerful with console commands hghhhg *disappears mysteriously into deathclaw hell*

Even with underleveled explosives, if you're really lucky, you can put down a slew of land mines (upwards of 20-40, mine glitched to the point they'd start being deleted) and lure a deathclaw over them. If you're lucky (it can be really random x.x ) the knockback will send them flying in the air stunned, and they'll die from fall damage. This is on very hard http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...../?id=194542990 Deathclaw space program
I love it, even if I prefer F3.
Most favorite location? To be honest, I love Campament Searchlight, its history and what happened there. Later we have Cottonwood Cove, a good place to rest if you're siding the Legion, or if you're siding somebody else and killed everyone there.

That moment when you start a new character and you pass by the deathclaws north east from goodsprings at level 1, and they follow you in caution mode all the way to Camp Mccaren (I forget what town is near the camp with the mother deathclaw, but that's the one I always pass by, it's right by Black Mountain, have to pass through there).
Always a pain to deal with, unless you pop all the drugs :D then you can even tank a few hits from the mother deathclaw on very hard.
Very nice drawing <:

Ehehe, I just run past Bonnie springs. If you hop up on the cliffs beside it, the cazadores won't get you, and then they kill all the Viper gang in the town for some nice loot if you're lucky. People always say that Fallout3 is great because you can just go wherever as soon as you're out of the vault, but NV is just like. yeah i can go anywhere too JUST WATCH ME
Ah yeah I remember that spot :D honestly would rather take my chances with the death claws. Usually I get my first level killing super mutants with a machete, then obliterate the fiends, Motorhead especially for the early chainsaw. My most recent run I held off on killing him a bit just to get the turbo recipe (the game's easy mode practically). Camp Mccarren makes an easy venture to New Vegas, and then with the chainsaw you can kill the mercenaries in the mountains north of NV to get the YCS gauss rifle
Turbo, Med-x, Slasher, Psycho, and whatever the battle potion is, I forget the name, huge combat stats with all that, and you find that the death claws aren't /that/ much harder from FO3, it's just the mechanics were changed drastically with the introduction of DT, but with the drugs you can get DR still and resist their damage.
If I remember right I even traded blows with Rawr and came out on top against him, though I can't fully remember now, I just know he went down somehow.

Well I had 2 way to approach them on different Fallout:
-Fallout3: I didn't at all, Combat Shotgun, power armor and let's go... 3 of them ? Peace of cake, using VATS and everything is fine.
-Fallout New Vegas: Those f**ker are really stronng, especially the one at Quarry Jonction... I used Anti-Materiel Rifle with all mod and killed them far from them... But Geez, they hit REALLY HARD...
Anyway, nice drawing, it's pretty cool and their face is well done ^^
