LOL, when I do art with symbolism (*gasp*), I usually use collars to symbolize being captive...being held back...being controlled by something.

Envy had a collar because he lets his envy control him, Malice has a collar because he lets his malice control him and hold him back from being anything better.

Not the most creative and profound symbolic meaning but I thought it would be appropriate.

Of course, when I'm drawing just 'normal' art, I'll draw collars sometimes jut cause I Think they look cool. ;P

I think this is awesome but instead of the same dripping effect I think you should have gone for more of a sharp or jagged scribble angry effect. I still love it the way it is thou.
