I love how everyone I've shown this to (not the internet) even my boyfriend, thinks this guy is the hotness. Such a simple pose too! I just wanted something fun to color. XD but...rawr!

He's based loosly off a lion with the markings/look of a Cecropia moth. Moths are so pretty! And I love adding insect markings to beasts! Very very fun. Expect to see more species!

That's quality colouring on him. The moths around my way only come in one colour-brown.

Ahh yeah I do see a lot of brown or white moths everywhere. But whenever I've gone camping I've gotten to spy a few odd ones! :D

I'd suggest one of my characters, Jager, but I don't know if you'd allow for that. Maybe a chibi fight with his reflection in the mirror, maybe a big rhino. Hmm.... thats about all I can come up with at the moment.

o.o wow the design I really like the fur patterns too. Shoulda gave him buggier eyes though maybe? Or fuzzier eyebrows :D That'd be epic.

Definitely love the marking colors, nailed it on the head.

I could see a milkweed beetle or hummingbird moth color scheme on this same fella and get the same 'ooh hotness' reaction.

They were fairly easy to raise as long as you had enough of whatever plant that the caterpillars ate.
