As good/better than much of the art in the new Werewolf: the Forsaken game book. If WW does a supplement for other were creatures like they did with Werewolf: the Apocalypse you should approach them.

Since we're the ones commissioning the art for the latest Mhar Fantasy RPG book, all I can say is YOW!

You really outdid yourself in making it striking and more terrifying than anything I would have done for it. Well Done.

As Art Director on the book, it's been a bit of a headache trying to get everything done and it's been worst for Greg since the book is basically his brainchild. It has been delayed getting out because one thing or another but now that it seems like everything is coming together at once with last of the editing on the final draft next week coming in and the remaining art also coming in at the same time. With the addition of this piece and some great stuff coming in from Henbe, Max Blackrabbit, and gNAW along with my humble offerings the delay will be worth the wait with all this kick-ass art to go along with everything.

will this be enough? Or does he need better rez? And did you send it to him?

He saw it (he was here looking over the production of the Atlas maps for the Anaeland Campaign Module we hope to have out after Christmas) and the rez is fine. As soon as we get the accompanying final edit for the pages in on Monday, the artwork goes into the book. Just three more pieces to be inked from me and one picture from gNAW and we may have the book out as early next weekend :)

Of course, then that means getting the artwork done for the City of Livry book (due for before Christmas). I'm already preparing to go to Montreal this weekend to check in with Henbe and Dr Bo on some artwork for Livry and the Knights of the Golden Eagle Source book (due out sometime next year).

The fun never ends here.

It is for a RPG book.

The Fraterna Solesti book for Mhar Fantasy RPG due out in early October (actually we're shooting for next weekend but that being optimistic).

The book is about a group of mages in a world that is sort of a cross between Kingdom of Heaven, Thirteenth Warrior, Lord of the Rings, and Spellsinger. Okay, basically Dela the Hooda and the Adamoria Gals universe but turn the clock a thousand years to the bad old days of the Middle Ages.

Anyhow the mages of the Fraterna Solesti are responsible in part for creating most of the major human magical orders on the continent, but this is due for getting into a civil war with one another and nearly wiping themselves out over petty rivalries. Despite the fall from grace they suffered, they still hold a high place in the politics of the Gifted (magic-users) and run many of the arcane colleges on the continent. The book outlines the order, their goals, internal politics, and history. One chapter covers an arcane college and details for running a campaign with wizard's apprentices and magic students (Harry Potter anyone?). In addition to worrying about being late for class and pissing off your teachers (not a good thing if they can turn you into a toad) students have to deal with a rival group of magic-users, zealous witch-hunters, and (aha!) a bunch of wererats looking to take over the city.

And you though you had it bad at your school.

Actually todays modern printers wouldnt have that much of a proplem. How ever if you switch to microns it might take some adjusting but alot of your expierence would still come out.

Heh. Nah, Wererats are excellent if under used in fantasy and all sorts of table-top gaming. They make perfectly selfish adversaries or misunderstood (or perhaps all to well understood?) heroes, in my own experiences. n.n
