Good afternoon my subjects, and welcome to game day.
Give me a C! Give me a U! Give me a T! Give me an E! What's that spell? ETHERAS! ^.^ Goooo stallions!
OOC
So yeah its Superbowl Sunday here in the 'States, and I'm gearing up to head out to a party. Being from New England, I will reluctantly cheer for those cheating scumbags The Patriots. I assume that this puts me at odds with pretty-much everybody else. Does anyone here want that Pats to win who isn't from New England? Let me know down below XP

Well... I would give Tom Brady the benefit of the doubt.... if it weren't for CAMERAGATE a few years ago . Its like... yeah anybody can mess up, plead ignorance, and be allowed to make up for it, but I'm sensing a pattern here. If you're caught cheating multiple times in multiple ways, one has to suspect poor character. So I do want them to win because they're my team, but at the same time, I don't want them to win because they've cheated multiple times now.
As for the NFL: I think they're investigating it, but its going to be a long drawn-out thing.
Are you being sarcastic about the Katy Perry thing?

If I remember correctly... Katy Perry did horrible as a Christian Singer. If people are upset that she switched to pop, maybe they should have supported her in her first venture. Blaming someone for trying a new approach after failure is a bit silly. <.<
I sort-of agree with you about the soul-selling, but I think there are some exceptions. For example: musicians who do particularly well in self-promotion like Zedd, DeadMau5, Skrillex, and do so well that the music industry has to take notice, didn't get into the biz by sniffing thrones and placating suits to climb the industry ladder. They skipped to the top relatively intact because they were successful BEFORE being signed. Just sayin' >.>
As for the NFL: its a privately run organization. They do their own policing and have complete authority in their own space. So they don't really have to pay anybody off because they'd be paying themselves. They did hire some special investigator who's known for being thorough... but also known for not being very speedy.

problem i see is that they have no proof for one, and second. how the hell couldnt they know? The refs and other team handle the footballs through the whole game and nothing was strange? I call bullshit. I think the only reason they even brought it up was because of the fact they crushed the colts. If the score was more even they wouldnt have batted an eye about it. Its just media drama before the superbowl to get everyone to talk about it.
After reading a bit more about it today, I am inclined to agree. Apparently they're now saying only ONE ball was under-inflated, and it was the one that was turned in after the interception. So.... much less of a smoking gun. And now I feel a bit bad because they character-assassinated this team which probably did nothing wrong.
