Sorry I'm out of shape!
Now that that's out of the way, here is the foam up job I need to do for otachi! LOTS of bulking up, my god. You can see just how big those feet need to be. Naturally, this isn't really what otachi's body is positioned like, but I didn't want to have to bend over very far to get the general feel as when photos start coming....they don't stop for 20+ minutes...if you're bent over far....that's a huge nope.
You may be wondering what that gray box is on her back there. that is going to be a hollowed out compartment. I call it Junk in the trunk. It will be accessible as one of Otachi's back plates will flip up like a car trunk and inside there will be all the extra batteries, LED controls, repair kits, pain killers, and whatever else we might need.

The eye is still busted and we haven't tried my back lighting idea yet. Here is to praying this body ends up as I've doodled it!! The amount of foam here is just...so, so much :/ I think for the really thick parts I might just do foam ribbing with a layer over top to cut back on the amount of foam used and also keep the costume a little cooler and lighter.
Well, if I cannot figure out how to make that eyes light up, then I just wont have either of them light up as technically, I don't think her eyes even glow, so it would still be accurate (not saying she is all that accurate anyways, it's more of an Otachi feel, really). I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tail and the wings. The wings will be very hard as I'm actually collaborating with an aerospace engineer (builds airplanes) on a mechanical mechanism for the wings. Figuring out how to get the wings sewn down to the body and arms of the body suit but still have the mechanical mechanism able to go on my arms in a seemless kind of way. Main problem is I don't have the wing skeleton yet so I don't really know what I'm working with.
