Thanks to the best possible skinning work of DeerfishTaxidermy from whom I got the pelt that first softmount didn't end in an absolute catastrophe.
The most delicate part were his legs since they were little tattered and I just patched them up with other rabbit fur and wolf underfur. Still have to see to the other holes in his pelt though..
He'll never be for sale because he has lots of flaws, naturally and thanks to me, but that is just good enough for me :) I'm a crafter and no taxidermist. Maybe one day, but not yet.
