A former resident of the settlement known as The Fountainhead, Rakell operated the 'restaurant' there until its collapse. Along with Sierra Walker, she wanders post war America trying to escape the forces that have caught her in their web.

I like the ambiance of this picture. She's got kind of a Fox McCloud thing going with that scarf.

I'd also like to know more about this war and the aftermath.

I do too. :)

So far I still haven't determined the cause of the war, nuclear, virus, etc... But it's been at least fifteen years since it happened, and most of the major governments have collapsed, though there are some groups still seeking the old world technology and power.

Not specifically, really it's just a post war setting, I didn't even notice them in the background until someone had pointed them out.

The creatures in the back ground look to be striders from the Half-Life video game series or Tripods from John Christopher's Tripods Trilogy. Awesome picture.

uhhh... okay... the two large shapes behind the buildings are birds? Just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing. Perhaps I just have a bias for large sentinel like creatures in dystopian settings and that is something that my mind's eye perceived when seeing the shapes. Never the less, it is a cool picture. :)

I do too. Fallout won me over, and I loved the Book of Eli. :)

I recently got off of a binge watching of Revolution, which is set in a world without power. I can't help but think Rakell is in that show's world when I see this.
