I printed the line work for this on watercolor paper so I could try to see if I could do a nice piece in that medium. I loved the wings, but I did no tlike how I painted the 'peacock' plumes, or the dark body. They really did not go with the wings. I was very unhappy.
I decided to put on my big girl panties and do it again....this time in colored pencil, since I decided I wanted a colored background....I will post that one next!

This piece will probably get matted up and offered for sale, just because it IS a nice watercolor piece...just not the one I wanted.
