I made sockpaws to go with my fox head. These are my first sockpaws. I wanted them to go up my calf to wear them with pants, so I had to figure out how to make them look digitigrade (enough) and still be able to get my foot through the ankles to slip them on. I also had to learn how to make a mold and cast resin for the claws. I gave them black leather soles so they are wearable indoors and out.
I'm rather pleased with the way these turned out, though I think next is to learn how to put a zipper on fur fabric (actually, for me, how to put a zipper on any fabric!). While I did get them to slip on/off and still be form fitting around the ankles, one of them is difficult to remove.
I may venture back to heads next and work on my Capt. Recker raccoon character's head. I want to try a different approach to the jaw/hinge than I did with my first two (the fox and the mouse) and I'm experimenting with different kinds of homemade eyes as well as LEDs. Recker is a steampunk-ish character, so he'll need some glowing parts, don't you think?

Thanks! I'll eventually get around to posting a series of pics on how I went about making them. If you want to make your own, it doesn't cost much in materials: the most expensive part was the silicone and resin for the claws, so if you do ever undertake the effort, I'd be happy to cast a set of those for you and save you that cost.
Here's a link to my blog where I put up how I made the sockpaws: http://wolf.ishly.me/sockpaws-version-1-0/
