A5 sketch perk in return for a contribution to my GoGoShiverz campaign~
I was given this passage and was asked to draw whatever I felt inspired to do:
"Invisible, immutable, he sat poised, eyes rigid upon his quarry. The snow was falling heavily in large
cotton cluster with soft impacts that sounded like whispers. He had been there for over an hour; patient,
observing. The snow clung to and covered his hooded cloak, blending him further into his
surroundings. His breathing was thick, but shallow; steady and disciplined. Even the keenest observer
would not be able to mark his outline. Dusk drew ever closer, the speckled, dull clouds dimming in the
last hour of day. The pale light gleaming more from the blanched terrain than the backlit canopy. The
trees were bare. They had shed their coverings and all that remained were twisted figures stretching out
with common purpose. Reaching for the unattainable with every sinew and fiber. Here and there a
bowing ceder leaned, branches heavily laden with snow, creaking with warnings of collapse under the
increased weight.
Now and then snow would lose its grip on the arms of the tree and a miniature avalanche would occur,
thudding into a pile beneath the boughs. Some branches, unable to cope with the shifting wind snapped,
sounding like muffled, distant thunder. He heeded no noise, no thought of trees or snow, no cold or
wind, no light or dark. A statue, allseeing;unseen. Aware, yet unperceived."
