Well that was somewhat depressing....... You've killed off Superman, Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder......

Hmmm........ A female Dalmatian Doctor huh..... Just how many of those rare gems are there in the green evergreen bough crown of V-Town?

I must admit I was half expecting Gahati to stay with Jasmine.... helping the Grand Lady, live out the remainder of her days with the joy she was denied in her youth.

I must also say, I was kind of hoping the Tommy might meet up with a certain wolf who was trying to travel around the world, to atone for his past sins.

Yep, you're right, not exactly my most uplifting work. I like to think it's a fitting end for the characters though.

As for spotted doctors... well, there's only one I can think of!

My original plan wasn't for Tommy to ever meet Brian, but he would see the other wolf's handiwork where he went, almost as if tagging along behind. Sadly that didn't ever seem to make it into the story.

Hmmm.. Well you never know... perhaps a certain lion, wolf and human... will have some adventures of their own..... its just too bad that Jon won't have any pups to go along with their little group... well that is unless... his loyalty to the force... causes him to breed so that his line doesn't end with him.

Yes I did weep. But sometimes it is good to know how a chartacter you have comed to love and care about passes on. That he is loved, caredfore, and respected in the end. And that his passing is peaceful.

That was pretty much the goal of this book, to show the final arc of the characters and and put them to a respectful rest. They've lived good lives, and they came to a proper end.
