Seeing them in other photos, I can tell that they were together in, and traveled together to get to this con. It would be rare to see them alone when they suit, and I can tell that they LOVE to suit together! Imagine-it would have been Malaika feasting on Kai, but I guess her instincts are in check.
I have to say to Kai, his tail is so long! I have seen him carry it a couple of times. Plus, he has been seen with a black hat-I don't remember if it's a top hat or a bowler, but he did have the swagginess when he wears it. Yep, you do see baby/sky blue on his tongue and pawpads! (Good to have him from Wisconsin after attending Midwest FurFest too!)
It is wow too that they are both digitrade!

lol we actually met each other at this con, we were roomies. But we both love to suit, so we were instant suiting buddies.
I like to think Malaika is a vegetarian lion, or that she at least prefers fish and nothing else, lol. So you're safe Kai!
