Reference sheet for my FBA player Kevin Malka.
I always feel horrible when I have artists draw this guy. I especially feel bad for
Adaoz because I make Ada draw him so much. And now I made him draw his ref sheet. YEASH! So many scales.....
His design took a while to settle one. Especially those legs, and his back. In the end, though, damn am I happy with his final design. Ada, I'm sorry I put you through hell on this piece, but you knocked it out of the park.
As a player, Kevin is very much a wall of meat. His mass and muscle make him an imposing image (as do those sharp scales, which earned him his nickname of razor). If you're in his way for a rebound, you probably want to get out of it, unless you feel like hitting the floor. Rebounds and assists are his primary purpose on the floor, as a defensive player, his points are secondary. His shooting percentage is also kinda crap, he's not great at it unless he's up close.
As a pangolin, yeah, he has no teeth. Eats by cutting things small enough to swallow and then taking them down. Also, his tongue is LONG. In real life, they are extended from back at their pelvis, so... yeah, you can see how long that is. His is a bit more flexible/controllable than a real life pangolin.
I let Ada have a bit of fun at the end of the time making this ref sheet, which meant including the references to a few fellow players in his likes/dislikes, as well as the orientation category. Ada added it as a joke, and cycled through a ton of funny suggestions (including "twisty", Aditya Anggun, Hmmmmmm, DoUbLe RaInBoW WUT DOES IT MEAN?!, "Not straight", etc) before jokingly putting up the rainbow. He asked what I wanted there or what it should be replaced with, and I just told him the flag or gay is fine. I think he was surprised.

It's been a long time coming. Had to save up the money for it, and then Ada had all those family things in December, and then it just took a while to get it done. But it's done now! Can't thank Ada enough for the sheet, and thank all you guys for enjoying Kevin so much. It makes everything I do with him worth it.
