Took a few requests on my journal for species mashing and 
suggested combining a baboon and a carp. Started drawing the baboon at first but it looked too cute and I wanted it to be scary!
So when I started over this is what came out. It's more fish-like than anything and reminds me of an alligator gar. I put the color on sloppily but I think it does the job.
