Whenever you log into World of Warcraft you're gonna have to deal with stupid at some point and time. Currently there is a Valentine's event going on and I'm missing the mount and a pet so it's worth my time logging in during this time. Has nothing to do with my post but still... reason for even dealing with Stupid.
I can't even remember who originally asked for the S/S Gilnean Raven (Speed/Speed stat) but since it's alliance I made them generic human. I looked into my pet journal and saw that it was vendor purchased so I replied to their /2 (Trade Chat in WoW.) telling them they can just purchase the bird from a vendor in Darkshore. They asked "Where in Darkshore" so I replied. "I can't remember the name but it's the city that replaced Auberdine." Instantly I received a whisper. "Same name." Since I have the time RIGHT NOW I can say I was correct when I replied to her/him with "No. Auberdine was destroyed by Deathwing. There was a different city that replaced it as the major city in Darkshore." (The new "major" city of Darkshore is now Lor'Danel which replaced the now destroyed Auberdine just a lil north of it.) They suddenly replied "I bet you I'm right." So I shift right clicked their name. It has to be a low lvl or possibly someone who hasn't been able to afford the expansions. Level 100 Pandaren... so they not only had the Cata expansion but they had the Pandaria expansion AND the Warlords of Draenor expansion. HOW DID THEY MISS THE FACT A GIANT FECKING DRAGON BLOODY WRECKED THE WORLD OF AZEROTH!? First City the dragon destroyed? Auberdine. (Not counting the earthquake or the tsunami since he wasn't even out of the ground yet.)

I didn't understand S/S and I still kinda don't get it since there isn't a way to check normally. But I like things with high attack either way. XD
As for other chat lingo... Whisper /w is a private chat between two people. Trade /2 is a chat window that everyone within any major city can see. It's supposed to be for trading goods for gold but since there isn't any other chat channel that goes to all major cities this one gets abused. You'll get guild recruitment spam and just basic spam. Darkshore is a zone... think of it like a state. The Zone of Florida. Darkshore the zone. And Auberdine used to be a major port city within Darkshore but it was destroyed by the dragon named Deathwing. So the newer major city for that zone is Lor'Danel. They are Elven settlements. :D While I say Lor'Danel is a "major city" it's really only certain cities that are tied with the Trade Chat channel. All of the major Racial Cities are connected and then there is one for every expansion area where all the races meet.
Cities tied to the Trade Chat Channel are:
(Dwarven city Ironforge, Night Elven city Darnassus, Human city Stormwind, and Draenei city Exodar for the Alliance faction.)
(Orc city Orgrimmar, Tauren city Thunderbluff, Blood Elven city Silvermoon, Undead/Foresaken city Lorderon/Undercity for the Horde faction.)
And then for both factions Shattrath and Dalaran. Each faction has a Temple in Pandaria... and everyone has a personal Garrison in Draenor. There is also a PvP(Player vs Player) island in Draenor that has a portal to each of the racial cities. One side of the island is Alliance the other for the Horde and it is tied to the Trade Chat too. :x
Basically a whole lot of cities tied together for trash talk. XD

And yessshhhh I hope I get that mount. The pet was only 40 love tokens so I got it right fast. :3 But I'm trying for other mounts too. :D Dungeon mounts... > A <
