How To: Maintaining your fursuit parts
This is a common thing, but still helps to see it visually!
I've been asked how I maintain my fursuits and heads, when I talk about wiping them off, here's how I do it!
When stored fursuits get dusty, when worn they get a little dirty, so maintaining them by wiping them off really helps them look like new!

I've taken both my feet paws and head (removable eyes) into the shower to wash by hand with great results. a little bit of a pain getting them dry in hawaii due to the humidity, but when washed with woolite for darks my white foot paws look brand new. also i use a 1:3/1:4 mixture of snuggle fabric softener and water in a fine misting perfume bottle to act as a detangler when brushing it out and to soften up the fur. =3
I have a question! It applies to both of these tutorials. I forgot that I had ears on top of my head and bumped into my friend's face paint. Will either of these be able to get off the Halloween kind of grease face paint? Bonus question. Will it also end up taking off the airbrushing done on the ears?
Since it is oil-based paint, try using a small amount of dish soap to work out the grease paint! Dish soap is expert at getting oils broken down while still being very gentile. When you use soap you want to use a new damp cloth to wipe the soap back off.
Airbrushing can fade with friction, but can really only be removed completely with things like nail polish remover or alcohol. Cleaning something shouldn't completely remove the paint so you should be good. Just be mindful of how much you are scrubbing the area where the airbrushing is!
