Haha no worries. xP Imperius is the Ridgeback species. It's a fun site though, like a more mature and enjoyable form of Neopets without thousands of advertisements clogging up every single aspect of the site. xD; Plus it involves (might even say it revolves around) a lot of breeding for specific gene/color combinations, which is really interesting and challenging on its own.

Hm... Sounds fun, though... I'm worried it sounds a bit difficult to get into... It kind of reminds me of Dragon Quest: Joker and the like, where you'd have characters and could combine them to create new monsters and have them gain different stats and abilities

Nah, it's actually pretty easy. The community is super friendly and loves giving away dragons to new people who are just starting out. That's kinda like it, but 'stats/abilities' aren't at all useful on the site, except for training dragons to battle in the Colisseum- and even then, there are like three main builds for a dragon to fully level up in order to grind for treasure and food. Most breeding is highly subjective according to each user's preference for gene and colors and certain combinations of those... It's highly addicting though, so... beware... xD;

Gah, you're telling this all to a fanatic of these kinds of games... You're driving me nuts lol, it's like dangling drugs in front of an addict. I've tried to do it on other things, to mixed results. Mostly Pokemon... Remember when that was just simply "Put this team together and be done"? Yeah, not anymore lol... And it even has battling? Oh boy... I haven't even touched it and I already feel addicted...

Oooh, Pokemon, I'm still half-addicted to IV and egg-move breeding and shiny hunting... xD; But yeah, it's a really fun website. Battling mostly consists of AI battles, but there are some user vs user competitions. And every month there's a "festival" with fun new things, like apparel for dragons, pets (called 'familiars') and all sorts of other fun stuffs. They just recently (as in, in December) revealed an entirely new species, the Nocturne (the one up there named Treat is one). So the development team is super active and we're always getting new updates and things to go crazy about. :P

Lol I've tried to get into it, but the whole thing got lost on me... I know the basics, and I can definitely figure it out given enough time and the right Pokes, but I tend to let my friends work their magic and then team build for them, since while I'm not the best battler I do enjoy a good team building experience.

OMG I HAVEN'T EVEN LOOKED AT THE SITE AND I'M ADDICTED, STAHP ;~; But no really, this sounds so cool! I'm tempted to give it a try, but even if you say the community is friendly it's one of those things I'm meh about trying... Maybe I'll look up some videos on YouTube and try and get a feel for it from there...

Haha no worries, I understand. P: It's not open to the public right now though, but it does open up registration periods every now and then. I may make a small journal shout-out update whenever they open for registration for anyone who'd be interested in joining to do so while it's open. Either way, it's a fun site and for someone like me who loves dragons, it's pretty dang cool. ^^
