One more character from the same universe as Siegfried, as well as one of Zig's enemies, Darius Raeh belongs to the race of Angels. He is a member of the "Sanguine" Extermination unit which mission is to hunt down and kill any Altlings or mortals that were considered "dangerous" by the High Council, as well as punishing traitors. Darius serves the High Council "in all things" and is one of the most efficient members of the "Sanguine". While Darius is very young by Angel standards - only 40 or so years - he is one of the strongest Angel warriors. He could easily fight a dozen Demons and win without breaking a sweat. His weapon of choice is a bastard sword through wich he channels the energy of the Thunder Element.
I want to note that all Angels have wings, but they keep them hidden most of the time so that the wings won't get in the way. These wings are composed of peculiar matter that can phase through many materials, so clothes won't prevent the wings from opening (metal armour will, though). While Angel wings give them the ability to fly (by creating reversed gravity) they can also produce lots of very thin tendrils that can be controlled by an Angel like some sort of tentacles - only very thin and extremely sharp. They may also wrap together to form thicker and stronger tendrils. Either way, these tendrils may be used as a deadly weapon.
One more thing. If you think that Darius' outfit looks familiar, it is because his outfit is a tribute to a certain anime character.
