Me too! Donkeys are so much cuter than horses, those big ears and aaaah I love them ;u;

I used to volunteer at a donkey rescue in my teens, I often describe them as a horse with a dog's personality. that feral zonkey seems like a nice character :P

That sounds absolutely wonderful :D I've never had the pleasure to really meet a donkey besides petting zoos and such. :( I love dogs so much so that's super exciting to hear that donkeys are like horsedogs ;u;

oh yeah I really love dogs too, I've been wanting a German shepherd or German shepherd mix of some sort, but if I have the property id like a jack or two myself, but interestingly donkeys often don't like dogs, it's why they're often used as guards for sheep and cattle herds against coyotes(which is funny my fursona is a coydog, my alternative form is a donkey though, bit of a shapeshifter), but yeah, donkeys are great to be around, I sit in the middle of the field, get surrounded and licked all over :P

it was a nice experience, if they like you they're very affectionate, it's been years though for me last time i got to see a donkey up close
