Few people know this, but Foxy has two hands once, long ago. Back then he was a fresh-faced kit, out on his first voyage, but a cabin boy. The voyage was nearly over, they were within spitting distance of port and safe harbor when it happened... that night of cursed wind and clouded skies, confusion and terror... and anchovies.

He never speaks of it, not to anyone. But on cold nights when the wind howls you an see him sometimes, staring out to sea.
