I've tried distressing sample pieces of the silver armor and I wanted to get you folks opinions.
1 is the un distressed silver.
2 is a lightley sponge applied distressing
3 is a heavier brush applied sample

Yeah 2 looks the best of both worlds.
You tried drybrushing to add age/weathering? Ignore this if you've tried it.
Get a brush with a little black paint on, brush it onto some paper to remove most of the paint so that very little remains on the brush. The lightly but quickly brush it onto edges/corners you want to look distressed/worn. try it on some scrap first but it can make stuff look really good.
