Commander Scar (CC-56648) got his nickname due to the sever tissue damage to his face. Scar received his tell-tale injuries during the First Battle of Geonosis when a Geonosian fired upon him at near point-blank, shattering his helmet. Even as he was blind in the right eye and bleeding profusely, he managed to keep fighting until the CIS holdouts on the planet surrendered to the Republic. Scar only took on enough bacta treatments to heal the more sever and deep rooted damage. CC-56648 heads up the 33rd Blue Gundark Division, under the watchful command of Jedi General Nomi Swiftfuchs. When Order 66 came around, General Swiftfuchs was help captive by a group of pirates and was spared from execution by her own troopers, but her padawan, a male amaran named Ket wasn't so lucky. Swiftfuchs managed to free herself and learned of the treachery of the clone army. She personally hunted down her former XO and took his head off before fleeing to the Unknown Regions.
