i def like short hair like i had hair down to my chest and then one day i just chipped it all off bc it was super unhealthy and i never took care of t or did anything with it... i kinda just had it bc it was what was expected, yknow?? but then i cut it and ive had it short ever since and i dont intend to grow it out again!! even now my hair is like 2.5-3 inches at its longest and its bothering me LOL;;;
but its also an identity thing like i always felt like something was off for me and then when i cut my hair it helped me accept it more!!

also yeah i had it shaved last time i cut it!! idk if u know like clipper terminology but i had it down to like a 3 and now its grown out a lot =3= it wasn't like completely shaved, i had like a centimeter of hair but now its grown out to 2.5-3 cm.... it doesn't look shaved at all now LOL ;; but when i cut it it'll be fixed!!

and yeah i might do it on the very end like if i do green primarily id do some purple on the ends.. but half n half is more likely i think ^Q^//

ITS A RLY SHITTY PLATINUM I ASSURE YOU i was originally going for grey and i had it for like for like 2-3 days (like this) but then i washed my hair in hot water bc i forgot toning isnt permanent (i havent dont semi-permanent in months, just bleaching) so its gone..... T3T
now its thiscolour, these r shitty phone pics so theres not much difference but like before it was really grey and now its like a weird blondey white mess idk im rly disappointed )^: but its my fault for bein dumb and forgetting about semi-permanent colour lmao..

ANDDDDD honestly i do not regret it at all!!! its all about taking care of your hair and not going super fast. i have been bleaching for like... 5-6 months now??? and i did some colours inbetween which set me back from platinum obviously, for example i did a blue bc i was rly stressed and i hated it and it took like a month or two to wash out and bleach out, but tbh like my hair is totally fine. i just use oil after ever shower and i recently started using deep conditioner. i never use above 30 strength bleach either bc impatience with hair is how it falls out lmao
a lot of people that want platinum hair regret it bc they do it all in like a month (or even less time) and that is never good.... especially if you're starting with rly dark hair... bleaching should only be every 2 weeks, and form dark hair it'll take at least 4-5 bleaches to get platinum..

doing ur hair is generally fun though i recommend, especially if u have naturally dark hair bc you can always just dye it back... like expressing myself with my hair is rly fun and you get a lot of compliments bc everyone sees it as this really crazy hard to do damaging thing when its not half bad at all if you do it right!!

i actually really wanted more of a silvery than a platinum but i dont even know how id achieve that? my hairs naturally VERY dark brown so i dont even know how much processing that's going to require and how much damage ill have in my ends *cue full body shudder* im not really concerned with putting bleach in my hair, i've bleached it a lot in the past and i usually go for 40 strength bc like. it works fast as hell and i have 0 patience honestly. my hairs still super healthy for the most part, but i never leave the bleach in for long and i usually wait til my hair goes from dark brown to like... dirty blonde.. to wash it out, no lighter/ and then i dye it with a permanent auburn color lmao...
i havent put any dye in my hair in SO long tho, its had to have been 4 months now? i wanted to go silver for the summer but idek where to begin cause it feels like a whole different playing field than the red i used to do MOANS
dont most people who go from dark to platinum just double process and get it light the same day? ive never heard of the every 2 weeks rule. that sounds like a good idea but imagining the awful colors in between each bleach session is a huge huge turn off l m a o...

also no i enjoy that you like talking about hair I CAN TALK ABOUT SKINCARE AND MAKEUP AND BEAUTY FOR FUCKING EVER but i dont know shit about hair so yay!! as far as products go, when my hair was red i just used a john frieda shampoo and a redken conditioner and they were both specifically for red hair. but now my hairs dark again and i just use random shampoos and conditioners that i can find lying around in the bathroom. sometimes ill put castor oil on my roots and ends but thats it so product recs would be great!

aaaaa if yr hair is really dark right now you'll probably need like 4-5 bleaches (at least with 30 volume stuff) and a tone or two *w* people say toning is super bad for your hair but its basically semi-permanent stuff that you can't leave on for more than like 25 mins....
and by that point your ends will get bad if you do it really quick, or maybe if you use stronger developer (im not sure). time frame would be 2 months at the quickest or maybe shorter... and by the time your done if your ends really bother you, they could be chopped off (if your hair grows that fast, i know mine does but its also short so idk)
the only crappy thing is that silver / grey aren't usually permanent colours. i really wish they were T3T all the fun colours r never permanent... there might be a permanent grey out there for like... old ppl with white roots??? but idek man i havent looked into it honestly.

the 2 week rule is something ive heard from other people but its also like... just for me?? like i never do more than 1 bleach in a week, but if im really in a hurry sometimes ill do it after a week and a half... honestly its all about how your hair feels and how you know its supposed to feel?? ive heard of people doubling up but tbh that would make my hair feel like shit and i cant deal w that lmao... ESPECIALLY ppl using like 40+ developer. like that is how you get that shitty "hard" hair that feels just dead n lifeless ...
alsoooo i never had orange hair during bleaching, that seems to be what people complain about inbetween bleaching dark to platinum... like i havent had dark hair since last summer and inbetween my first ever bleach. between then and now ive had semi-permanent colours on top of bleached hair... i did have some orange/pink stuff going on after having purple in my hair but it wasnt that bad tbh, when you have it for x days you learn to work it lol

also im glad then dsfjdsjhf i dont know crap about makeup or beauty stuff rly like i always only got cheapo stuff even when i was wearing makeup all the time lol... walmart brand 4 me...
even now i use like. herbal essences on my hair when im not deep conditioning and i love the stuff it makes my hair super soft after i shower??? its not rly about the name of the product (although most of the time if u can cough up like 20 bucks each for shampoo and conditioner theyll usually be good) but whats in it... like as long as u avoid silicones and stuff like that ur hair will be fine with "crappy" brands... and of course ur own experience counts into that, etc... mot of the time any shampoo / conditioner labeled for coloured hair is good stuff ^Q^//
