Thanks! This did turn out to be a good anatomy study for me. The basic gesture is from a site called 'bodies in motion', which there is a link to on a stickied thread in the FA forum artist discussion section. (Check it out if you want to try out some dynamic poses. It's a great study!). Then I checked out a bunch of other googled references for musculature in the legs and side body. I've been trying to work on these muscles as of late.
