This drawing is basically me highly exaggerating the digitigrade-ness of rogers. Based on a sketch you can see in my scraps: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15705647/ I just kept thinking it was a kind of dorky, neat drawing. So finally I did a more complete version. I don't know if I captured the "dorkiness" but little sketches are by their nature pretty vague.

Hello FA! Long time no see!

I have been drawing, but mostly doodling; I'm a bit out of touch with the idea of finishing anything. Also, I keep trying to get myself to draw "real aliens." Meaning, beings with little to nothing in common with me, biologically speaking. See my recent story for example (warning: porn) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14675455/ But, inventing aliens is hard work, and I keep holding myself to really high standards.

And I still find rogers to be The Cutest and love drawing them. So I get in this sort of cycle: I'll sketch a roger a) sleeping or b) reading (apparently these activities endlessly fascinate me); I'll think the drawing is the best thing ever; I'll think "I have reasonable skill but my palette is really limited" and try to draw various Weird Awesome Aliens; I'll question my design decisions and go read chemistry and biology textbooks; and then I get caught up in reading whatever, and don't draw for a while.

This leads me to not finish drawings :O so I thought "hey I'll finish a drawing." BUT once I cleaned up the pencils to a point where I was ready to ink them, naturally I decided I should post it.

Rogers belong to  not-fun.
