Actually, you'd be suprised at what belly dancers can do. This pic is referenced! I can't find the original pic, but rest assured this is a very common bellydance move. It' is made possible by the movement of the feet.

i know what bellydancers can do as i like watching them too, but i doubt that one kept the balnce standing like that... But she sure looks great here and mabbe it can be done in motion!

I hate to be an ass, but here is the reference pick and other pics of a standing back bend. If you look closely, the one I drew is actually bending back a bit less than the original. The move is done standing.
