Here's a flat color commission for Whatismynameeven over at DA.
He wanted to know the max distance people can be away from their bodies, but the easy answer is there isn't a max distance :3
It is believed some kind of chemical reaction in the brain causes the wormholes, which is also what causes the detachment of the neck. It's possible this is why detachment happens more often when someone is tired as well.

Wormholes... Hot dang I knew this would catch on sooner or later! =D
Nice on GB, and yeah that makes a ton of sense when you try to think about it. Wormholes or portals are the only convenient way for said noggin to remain linked to the body, even on the other side of the world. =D
And here I was afraid my own would swallow me up if I used this trick for too long. XD I just wish I could do this sort of thing (outside of) GB, Vivi and Crystal's realm... I think if I tried it too often in my own space realm, I'd suck in the Earth, Sun, and everything else.

Also I can imagine the hijinx that could ensue with Crystal being able to travel as far as she can. No one's noggins will be safe! Crystal could, for all intensive purposes, sneak all the way over to my place, thief away my noggin, and return all the way back to her dorm to whatevers... Use me as a cuddle plush to sleep with, practice Head-Ball, etc... And I would be at a disadvantage! She's got her pendant camera, I got nothing. XD

I Kno.. I AM... I have my security camera at my front door turned on and everything, but that's still no guarantee... We both know Crystal is a wizard with electronics... She could easily turn my camera off while I'm sleeping and no alarms would wake me... By then it would be too late, and I would probably be waking up in her dorm room with Vivi's noggin or yours on the other side... no I take that back... All four of us would probably be piled up in Crystal's bed and being used as cuddle pillows. XD
