Commissioned digitally painted piece created by

This piece took 17 hours for Damien to create, so I'm really thankful. I can't help but think that in the time it would take to beat a video game, he's worked on this piece the whole time.
The idea for this commission request came about when Damien was drawing single characters for other people, and I really wanted one for Nyst. At first there was supposed to be no background (and no version with a vest costume), but after thinking hard about what I think might add greater value, more and more additions to the picture were requested.
The background is inspired by reference images of national parks (and other nature images) that Damien and I looked at as we collaborated. (But really, this is all him. :) )
To those wondering, Nyst is floating. He can float and fly.
I really like this picture a lot because it very bright and charismatic, the signature mark of Nyst's vibrant personality. Also, the background is amazing, a character in and of itself.
