This is a huge watercolor I've been working on as a Valentines Day present for my boyfriend. This is the only picture I took of it before I finished it and shipped it out so I hadn't painted the background or his tail yet but oh well.
I'm really proud of it and it took me forever but it's finally done and on its way to my love <3 (who's last name happens to be Griffin sooooo... Yeah.)

You're only as good as you believe yourself to be, and then even more so :3 as artists we are our biggest critics. And even still, some of the best works of art are simply paint spatters on a canvas. The thing that makes a painting good isn't so much of what it's a painting of... What makes a good painting is putting all of your feelings and emotions in it ^^
It doesn't matter. In my opinion there's no such thing as "bad" art, it's all wonderful. While some artists are more skilled than others, I feel it takes a lot of courage to put your thoughts and emotions down on paper or canvas or anything. All art is good in its own special way because it was created by the hands of someone who was inspired. so don't give up okay? ^^
