I have a burning suspicion that time is being measured against my mettle.

- If I break while waiting, then I might be cast aside.
- If I stick around for the long haul, I have a 50:50 chance that:
A. I will be rewarded for my patience, and be given what I need; or,
B. More time will be allotted, through which I must further endure.

Whichever truth may be, I find the blindness of indeterminate time to be most trying.
