If you get that last lil' reference... then you probably watch something I watch.
I must inform you that the "is/are OP" is actually a category of FF Lessons, one that I tried to leave for later, but just couldn't let it pass in FF Tactics. Because Squires ARE OP... or they are just pretty cool for being able to Blue Mage the best spell and summon in the game.
