well- that's the way to learn to draw. ^.^ back in the days of the classical masters, artistic hopefuls would sit in galleries with a canvas and attempt to copy the great works of their time all day long. what's that- emulation is the highest form of compliment? I'm sure Walt Kelly would be honored. =3
The strip was very promising under Sternecky & Doyle, became poorly drawn/written when it reverted back to Kelly's heirs and then stopped. Since then, the characters were in limbo - stasis - like mine are for the past 17-18 years.
