Yea I got that from your description. Still makes it a little strange however. It's like if you saw a dog and expected it to bark, and then it meowed.. Sort of that feeling

It's actually not opera because of the religious nature of the song. Opera music is very secular AKA "Not Religious".

whats wrong with high pitched male voices? people say my voice makes me sound like i am 8 years old. had people on xbox live laughing histerically in call fo duty cause i had a mic and htey said i was an 8 year old trying to act like an 18 year old

Well the standard is that post-pubescent males have a deeper voice than prepubescent males. Variation from this norm tends to result in confusion, surprise, or revulsion.

eh i like my high pitched squeaky voice. in elementary school the way the rooms were set up my voice echoed so bad it would make my ears ring a bit
