Just a little bit of my thoughts onto canvas.
I have this habit of always looking for the good in people. Often, it's the part of them I find first. The problem with this is that when they let their less-pleasant sides show, it really makes me disappointed.
There isn't a person I've gotten to know in this world - in real life and online - who hasn't gotten this face pointed mentally in their direction. Every. Single. Person. I've. Met. They've all disappointed me somehow. Some more than others, and some for things that don't really matter. It makes me think that maybe I should assume everyone is horrible until they do something good to avoid making myself lose my faith in humanity. There's nothing to lose when you don't have any, right?
But then, I'm not perfect either. So I get over it (well, usually), and I forgive them, and I try to focus on the good again.
Today has been a reminder to me of these things.

Everyone disappoints people in their life. You just gotta remember that other people's opinions don't matter. If you disappoint someone by doing something you feel is fine, tell them to eff off. If you ever actually get this face from me, tell ME to eff off, and I'll understand.
Eh, only one thing wrong with assuming everyone is horrible. The smile police start chasing you and trying to cheer you up. *shrugs* Like you said we've all got our good points and our bad points. The thing that needs remembering is that we're all people, we're not (usually) Angels or Demons... (usually...) Even the sweetest nicest person has their failings and the most horrible despicable person can have that 'redeeming' moment but still be mostly an unmitigated bastard. Most of us though fall somewhere in the middle.
Just.. watch out for the smile police.. creepy....
