
Inspired by Steve Gallacci's Coyote People, I was reminded of my "Fixed Latransamorph" named Hawthorne who showed up in an early comic of mine called "The Coyote Contraption." I just doodled this page up with poor Hawthorne waking up and realizing he hasn't changed back into a human after the sunrise.

One of my principal characters was a whitetail deer detective; when he was drawn by an artist, the artist very carefully gave him a type of fedora that had buttons in the middle to allow the hat to fit over the antlers.

He He He! I wonder which critter I resemble best in temperament after I awake in the morning? Some say a "Pirate." quip back with "A pirate What?" (You gave me an idea for a short comic featuring a "Werebear" slowly transmorphing back to his Human form after his morning coffee.
