So I was gettin'
Bane into this rad new game we've been playing called "Armello" (check it out over here) which was recently released as Early Access on Steam. It's a rather fun Board-Card Game with a little bit of RPG elements to it. It's 2-4 Players, and the plot of the game revolves around a world of stylized animal characters! :O It's a cool game, check it out if you've wanted a new game to back-stab your friends in~
Anyways, on to the picture. This idea came from when I was showing Bane how Armello works. We jumped in and decided, after scoping out the characters quickly, we wanted to play as Thane. About midway through the match, we ended up fighting and killing Amber 3 times in a row, and each time the both of us couldn't help but imagine Thane getting rather satisfied after each fight~ ;3c

Well, if it helps, I draw on an enormous canvas (around 5000x5000 pixels) so that pictures look nice and crisp even when shrunk. I also use Paint Tool SAI with just a slighty tweaked Brush tool, which has plenty of anti-aliasing and smoothing to get a nice crisp look as well :> Hope that helps! I'm not really the best at explaining my methods unfortunately XD
Thank you, that's actually very helpful! :}==< Gonna try my next ones with a big canvas like that, and play around with the brushes a bit. I actually just got SAI as well!
So far getting nice lines and colors has been the biggest step for me, so I'm gonna work with these tips now and see how i get it down. :)

Oh excellent! If that's the case, I already have a couple images to show what kind of Brush settings I use, though there's still lots of little tricks to learn with the other tools as well that even I've not tried yet! Anyways, here's the settings~

Another thing that came to mind as I was getting those links... Up in the top-right of SAI is the Stabilizer (Might be called "Smoothing" if your version is different), which I have turned all the way up to 15 when Sketching, and S7 when inking to get those nice smooth lines :3 It takes a bit of getting used to but it definitely gets nice results!
