Many thanks, dear. With rare exception (European heraldry), most symbols are simple and easy to remember. Whilst I cannot be, of course, certain of the way aliens would think, anime aliens (as this is effectively a furry and anime game I was creating it for) always tend to think fairly close to human. Human thinking can only get just so alien. Thus, a simple, easily-remembered (and producible) symbol,
Though not up here on FA, I also have it in simple black and white.

Yeah, but it actually makes sense to have an orb with a dagger through it and then some sunrays.

The orb could either be the planets they visit or the quantum particles they utilize to travel and the dagger represents their dominion over it, with the sunrays showing their nobility.
