I am somewhat surprised that I did not do this piece sooner, being the Secret of NIMH nut that I am. I just did this today multi-tracking, meaning I am playing all the instruments. I recorded the piano first. Then I recorded the flute playing the tune (panned left) and then I completely improvised the second flute, harmonizing the melody (panned right). My mic placement on flutes wasn't ideal but I had a limited amount of time in there with the microphones. The room I recorded in was imperfect and I know there are a lot of air noises. Also the room was cold so my flute was kind of flat. In any case enjoy everyone.

Awesome. I'll bump it to the top of the queue so it gets posted today or tomorrow; just keep an eye on http;//tumblr.thornvalley.com. And yeah, the main website doesn't get much activity and all the fan activities (fan art, etc) happen elsewhere, so tumblr seems like a natural fit for collecting all of that in one place. n.n

Just now getting to listening to it. A lot of times, I only have a few minutes to browse through the site and play "catch-up" with journals/submissions. Something I feel needs more attention. like this, will get set aside until I have the time to give it the attention it deserves.
