Katherine "Keaton" Jyraneth is an Angel and a member of the "Sanguine", like Darius. Before she became a member of the Sanguine, though, she was a servant to Seth for almost twenty years. Seth used her little sister, Lianna, to manipulate Keaton. Darius with a few other "Sanguine Angels" raided Seth's old base of operations one day and rescued Keaton. However, she didn't want it, since her sister was held at some unknown lokation and should Keaton disappear, Seth would have no reason to keep Lianna alive. Several years after her rescue Keaton, now a member of the "Sanguine" herself, came back to exact her revenge on Seth - only to find out that he was killed by Siegfried. Since then Zig replaced Seth for Keaton as her mortal enemy. However, over time both of them started to realize that they both may have a common true enemy..
Keaton's weapon of choice is a Nullifier sword - a Nether weapon that is capable of erasing magical energy around it. A couple words on the Nullifiers. Some of these weapons are so powerful, that most Altlings can't stand their very presence. Even Mortals, who are not that dependant on magical energy, and Arcanids, who produce magical energy themselves would feel uncomfortable around such weapons (however, there is a sort of Arcanids who are living Nullifiers). Since they erase magic, it's impossible to cast while holding such a weapon (it is still possible to simply discharge magical energy as primitive elemental attacks, and natural magical abilities are not disrupted either). Nullifier weapons usually have some sort of a sheath that negate their effect and keep them hidden and safe for those around.
