84 years? we didn't even have personal computers until i was 30, and i'm only 66 now. we did have hard wired animatronix as early as 1950, before even mainframes started being mass produced, though. 84 years? wouldn't that be like sometime back in the 1930s? what a wonderfully quieter world it must have been, before everyone had television and car stereos. december 18th of some time in the 1930s? and i thought i was slow ~;)

of course if you were working with mechanical animation, which i think goes back to 1650 or there abouts, i suppose it would take some time to make all those little wooden gears.
