I haven't had a chance to test it yet; one of the downsides of buying gear like this during the winter- my options are limited :(. I've heard this lens is well liked and at the cam store it focused fast even under low light. The biggest complaint is no IS but considering this lens will almost always be mounted to a tripod on Monopod because of its size thats not such a huge deal...
