Inspired by Twitter a couple of days back.
An artist I follow was astounded to find out that not only was "gasoline" considered a masculine scent for candles, but that searching for "man candles" brought up a commercial line of butch scents for candles (they're all things like "First Down," "Woodshop" or most confusingly, "Man Town").
My comment was that "man candle" sounded like either a euphemism found in the Men Seeking Men section of The Stranger personals, or possibly a terrifying flame-wreathed undead from the Monster Manual. So here's the latter.

There is. I can't remember the name, but basically they're the skeletons of mages who had some sort of nasty fireball-related mishap or something to that effect. They don't suffer from the whole "hatred for all things living" issue, but they exist in constant agony and can find temporary relief only by unloading the flame they're constantly wreathed in onto a living victim.
