The Riverman, else known as Haemal, is the god those that dwell on the sea, the river banks harken to, his long, winding body far surpassing even the Gatekeeper's body in sheer length, many taking up a green cord and making an infinity knot around their masts or hanging one over their home door. Symbolizing his long winding form.
Though the Northerners claim it is instead a symbol of how all water is interlinked. connected to the whole in some way.
A loving deity but also chaotic, his quick temper and playful moods causing the sea to ripple and tear, maelstroms to form violently, sucking lakes dry or making them bountiful and overfull. His generosity so fickle. But ne'er doing it out of pure malice.
