This, my friends, is what happens when you commission an artist with a project they like, give them a handful of guidelines and details, and then tell them to go wild and have fun with it.
pseudosamurai is just incredible. I basically told him "Ilrys in green crystal armor, covering about 2/3 of his body. Dynamic pose, showing off his powers. Oh, and make it a little sexy too." And THIS is what fell out of his drawing tablet.
We ended up chatting in his art stream while he worked, and the joke of "cosmic energy spooge" happened. Since Ilrys' plasma energy flows and breaks a little like liquid in zero-G, it tends to drift around... and since it's glowy and crackly with power, well...
But yeah. This is Ilrys in his "superhero" form, I suppose one might say. At least, this is how I've depicted him in roleplay in superhero worlds! Full-on battle form, officially pissed off, no more limits on the asskicking. And looking damn sexy as he goes.
