My furry avatar - doing what I do the majority of the time - painting and listening to stuff (music or audiobooks)...
This is the art I used for my promotional for the summer sale - without all the text.
Done with inks and acrylics on 9"x12" illustration board.

As everybody already said, it's a very good composition and the facial expression is finely rendered.
But I also amazed you can concentrate both on a drawing and an audio-book without loosing your train of thought, because it's really difficult. Admittedly isn't probably a doctorate-level lecture about chemical kinetic like I've just listened, but it's still something requiring a lot of concentration...

Thanks =). And actually I find it to be very nice to listen to audiobooks while I draw and paint... While I'm working on art, its somewhat automatic for me - and my brain tends to wander if not given something else to think about, like a story. As for genre - I prefer fiction... murder mysteries, science fiction, adventure and fantasy... But sometimes its nice to just listen to the radio or MP3s.
Yeah =(... I guess I could crop some of that white space in the jpeg - but it wouldn't change the fact that the tail still goes off the paper.
It didn't occur to me until after the fact that I could do the image in the center of the paper and then digitally move it over and make extra room for the text until after the fact ^.^,, Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.

This is incredibly endearing. I find myself quickly running out of adjectives to describe what I like about your work so it must sound redundant but you really do have such an ability to bring out a soft atmosphere in any scene. Everything from your curled up posture to focused look to rather cute shorts and amount of bare fur showing adds a quiet emotion to this that really gives a sense what it feels like to be there that day, rather than simply retelling what it would be like to see[i] that particular instant.
Oh wow that's great. Great character. And I love the paws. But with the placement of the left foot, how close the fan is to it, and the fact the right is sticking out farther by being crossed, I'm assuming the fan is not really aimed at your paws? It just happens to look like it.
