This isn't even the end of it. It's a USB mic, so it's impossible to get real-time bounce back, so I have to have two mics plugged in, one for recording, and the other for monitoring how I sound, so I don't do a derp while I'm recording and find out only after I'm all done. XD
When you use words with letters like P, B, T, and so on, the puff of air tends to hit the mic really hard making a pop in the recording that can render a perfect take completely useless. The nylon stops pretty much all of that, as well as cutting higher, less pleasant tones, from your voice.
